I find them beautiful illustrations. My 3 year old son loves to look for hidden ducks, and claims several stories every night (especially for the trains). The stories are of different level. Generally cute and funny, they can be a little macho (goat "grumpy" because she is pregnant) or ending abruptly and negatively (children, eager to sleep in a tent, which finally sleep at home because they had fear of a noise). It therefore provides opportunities to discuss and open other perspectives !! The cover is very nice to the touch, but the leaves are thin, so it is difficult to leave a young child alone leaf through the book without offending (and perhaps also without cutting). Given all these aspects, it is overall a satisfactory product.
