I bought this set because I find the Arduino very interesting. Since I first wanted to familiarize themselves with the matter myself and still had no specific project I bought for the start of this set. Such a set has the great advantage that you can get going immediately, because the alternative would be run as a beginner safely danger of forgetting one or the other small parts. The supplied components are of decent, though certainly not the best quality and for the price absolutely fine. With the various sensors, the motor and the power you can try many things and so generate ideas about what you so everything can do with an Arduino. If necessary, you can set the then freely add other parts, for example, other sensors, additional motors / servos, ... Thus, I think that's set for beginners highly recommended. If you want to directly implement a specific project it is probably cheaper to buy the necessary components individually.
