I have the lamp in my study. The assembly was actually unproblematic. The ceiling mount plate is fixed with two screws. Then adjust the desired length of the wire ropes and screwed the bulb holder with two nuts on the ceiling mount plate. Only the glass ball must be set with "feeling" on the 6 steel springs they adhere to the lamp. Luckily the glass is very thick-walled and insensitive. It is also absolutely opaque and distributes the light from the lamps uniformly. I use a Philips LED bulb 9.5 Watt (psc = 1). For the price a bargain and looker !!! I would buy them again at any time.
