The solar panel is mounted invisibly inside. The plastic looks more like frosted glass. Green coatings, algae or the like has not been fixed, apparently rich occasional rains for self-cleaning.
The light is somewhat reminiscent of cool moonlight and looks nice. I have the lights are surrounded by ferns, the light intensity is sufficient to illuminate these and a bush nearby. But even without illuminating anything see the balls just beautiful and give the otherwise pitch-black garden something special.
During the winter, the lights have also survived and they, as usual, with all solar lights, due to the short days and the shallow angle of the light shine, naturally shorter, I think so about 2 - 3 hours pass but there. There are still the first battery that came with it.
If then but replacement should be necessary, I can recommend the Sanyo Eneloops that keep with me forever in other devices and have a much lower self-discharge than other NiMH batteries.
Would buy the bullets again at any time and they can hesitate to recommend.
