Negatives:
- Display texts on the display
- Remote
To use the newly acquired Google Chromecast and its music streaming services optimally could, I was looking for an inexpensive and high-quality way to improve the weak tone of my Sharp TV. The Samsung Soundbar appeared attractive and so I slammed.
The Soundbar is quite wide, so is over at my 32-inch TV, but that did not bother me. It is quite chic and kept in plain black. In the middle of a display is mounted on the can navigate through various menus. On the back of several connections (electricity, AUX, USB, Optical) are present. Bluetooth is not included in this cheap variant. In addition, some control options are still attached above the display (A switch, volume up, volume). Additionally, there is an external subwoofer, which is relatively large, still good and sneaked looks.
The Connecting Your TV is very easy. Either via AUX or optical cable, the Soundbar is plugged in and off you go.
Significantly more complex is then against the use of the remote control, which unfortunately looks small and cheap. Here you control with only half the buttons the Soundbar - the rest is for a Samsung TV (if one has since a). The course helps the majority of users do not continue, but ensures that you find yourself barely cope - there are, for example, two single-switch. In addition, the menu system is very poor. The individual menu items are displayed in the small screen the sound bar - that is much too small for the escalating numbers but.
For example, you can use different modes of sound reproduction by switching (movie, music, game, etc.). However, the whole is the element name preceded, thus yielding the following scenarios: 3D Sound Plus Off -> 3D Sound Plus On (and the like), but is still only a third of the text to see, making navigation more difficult through the menus. Below is a simple On / Off on the display would be better - you know, on which button on the remote control is pressed.
The sound of the unit, however, is very good and perfectly adequate for a living room. The bass is very tired and is also suitable for heavy bass music or video games. The sound affects the whole being strong and the soundbar does sound technology a very good service.
All in all, I would buy the Soundbar again, as it provides for a reasonable price a good performance. The design of the bar and the subwoofer is simple and elegant, the remote unfortunately overloaded and cheap. Who is looking for a favorable improvement of the TV sounds, can still reach for the Samsung Soundbar.
