beautiful tool that you become addicted

toshiba loyal to for years (tv, dvd, laptop), I chose this tablet is the thinnest on the market. I use it mainly to read because with age and rampant presbyopia, I had lost the taste for reading. now with Kindle (and hundreds of free or cheap books), whether books or newspapers, we can grow the letters of a finger swipe, choose a height-page or two columns wide and the pleasure of reading is really there! lightweight (500g), quiet, no heater, a treat with its 25cm screen! its autonomy is quite extraordinary when we had laptops that held two hours and weighing 3 kg. with the tablet fully charged, you can read two hours and still have a tablet that shows 88% remaining charge! enough to take him all day in his bag without being caught unawares.

the "grip" of the android environment is not bad "headlock" at the beginning: it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to have the accents of the keyboard (pressing a few seconds on the letter E or has to have options accent!). it should also uncheck the AutoFill option because it is painful to have to rewrite a word twenty times because the tablet a bit rewritten anything instead! by cons, once mastered manipulations, android is handy as all-purpose organizer (calendar, gps mapping, written and photographic notebook). on this, the sensor 5 Mpixels photovideo gives beautiful images outside, sunny, correct colors and satisfactory definition, but dark inside, it is scratched, noisy and very naughty!

with the purchase of the tablet on amazon (Delivery within 8 days), I immediately invested in the holster dedicated Tuff-luv a little expensive but very well designed to have a lectern and good protection (beautiful leather leather goods). I also bought a micro SD card of 32 GB ScanDisk to put all my family archives stored on my desktop PC, pictures, videos, mp3, pdf, to take everywhere my "library", it's very nice share photos and family videos on a TV screen thanks to the HDMI connection that many other tablets do not offer.

Another highlight, the wifi connection is reliable and stable detection of available networks is very easy.

the image viewer installed is inefficient (pixelated images), I installed perfect viewer (free) for images classified into libraries is very well thought out and magnification of images allows to appreciate the details.
I still have 25 GB on the tablet to thousands of free applications more or less, what satisfy my curiosity geek.
Finally, we spend more time with the tablet as watching TV and the living room sofa kids love remained huddled against you watching this beautiful little lively screen! I put 5 stars that say "I love it";)
