The problem reported by Mr. Santamaria is absolutely not on my copy of the CD; it must be bad files to download, or even a missed mp3 encoding. Sacred music of the eighteenth century offers quantity of works without much interest, all cast in the same mold. It is different from these, which are all three great writing quality, especially the Miserere, rich in moments of high drama. The work is very satisfying Dombrecht: tempos always fair, good balance voice / instruments, full of dynamic range, beautiful sound. Requiem (ZV 48) is not the most recorded, but one of the best Zelenka.
