Backlight: stays a while after you press the light button and illuminates the entire display (with many alarm clocks there is only a small Funzel on one side and the screen on the other side is in the dark barely legible)
Display: generally legible, size completely sufficient
negative:
Keys: the front keys are wobbly and not aligned in a row
Beep when pressed: for us the biggest drawback! Each time you press the alarm beeps. It's annoying, especially if you often times surrounded the alarm.
Alarm only via "Fast Forward": to set the desired alarm time is just running forward through the series of numbers. If eg. 45 minutes set Pressing a button to increase the minutes. In order not to push 45 times the key with the corresponding annoying beeping, you can hold it down. Then catch the minutes to go through more quickly and if you missed the 45 means that again from the beginning, instead of a few minutes back.
For these three shortcomings we draw from three stars because the alarm clock so only fulfilled its main function. The price is ok
