Positive
- Image quality is outstanding. Friends do not recognize the difference whether I have my photos shot with the X100 or with the Nikon DSLR.
- Akudauer tip. Have a Ersatzaku immediate system sold, but used only 2 times. Can with Akusparenden settings 400-500 photos in high resolution in RAW format before making the going gets tough. However, I only use the optical viewfinder
- Viewfinder is really great. The possible impressions in the viewfinder are incredibly convenient.
- All connections that are needed available
- Very good weight is well in hand but never suppressed defacto the neck if you reassigned it
- Very quiet (with silence function)
- Can look very sophisticated
Neutral
- Fixbrennweite you have to remember. I love street photography, but the focal length is perfect.
Negative
- Autofocus does really long
- Camera takes some time until it is ready for operation
- Auto Settings @ Exposure / ISO are usually not useful, usually is this overexposed picture. This camera is really wanting to deal with it for people.
- Photos can not be up close, then you have to change over to the (very good) Macro mode. Annoying.
This Kritikpunte are resolved with the Successor X100S far as I know, but the price difference is still huge.
Conclusion:
I've always a camera gewunschen compactness with the quality of a (mid-priced) DSLR. To bear in mind, of course, the slow autofocus, which can be annoying sometimes.
Who the Besetiigung the slow autofocus; Umswitchen to Macro mode and the 3-4 seconds requires that the camera is ready for use in 1000 are worth, I recommend the X100S it. For professional travelers, this camera is the best mate and definiv a very good choice!
