When BluRay functionality most players really make a difference no longer exists. It is always possible to play the blue discs and the quality is almost always very similar grade in the major players. What most players but so bring as an extra but is very different. I especially devices from Sony, Samsung and LG compared.
The streaming services it was me these are the following services included with important:
- Amazon Instant
- Netflix
- Max cathedrals
- Watch Ever
- Youtube
and of course the players should play BluRays can.
These requirements include a number of devices at once. But even those who are supposed to be according to the manufacturer will be able to view the Services but differ considerably.
But now to the device itself.
Processing:
The processing of the device is really okay. As can be seen in the picture is the shape of a little "getting used to" and not stackable. The player has no normal size, what I feel as a benefit personally. Since the player is so small it fits anywhere.
BluRay:
All my discs were played immediately and have played properly. The small remote control (see pictures) in my opinion is ideal as all the things you need are included, but no unnecessary buttons are included (z. B. numbers).
Streaming:
There are considerable differences between the individual manufacturers. Sony sets here in my opinion really set the bar very high. Samsung z. B. provides Amazon Instant mitlerweile also, but the app on Samsung devices is terribly slow. Still to come, that will be offered with Samsung and LG by far not as many services. You never actually needed all but as you never know what the service does for a best deal, you should keep open to all options for the future.
Max cathedrals, Netfilx, Watch Ever and Amazon Instant function properly.
Kabel 1, Pro 7, SIXX and Co. are not useful, since only a few episodes are included, which are not being updated. This means that it is the same Evig 4-7 episodes of a series is (eg Galileo).
Handling:
Everyone will prefer other menu guides here, but it is in my opinion even so, Sony has here a very clear menu navigation.
CONCLUSION:
All in all, I think the players very well done. For under 100 you get no comparably good player. Especially in the streaming field it is already difficult at all to find the combines so many services and then remains affordable a player. The Sony player does and with constant updates the movie experience is still somewhat improved (eg the performance of the Amazon app has been really dramatically improved).
BluRay Technically, there is in my opinion only minor differences, but who is looking for a BluRay Player even in streaming area is good, will not make a mistake with the Sony.
Update:
For all those performance in the streaming services is not sufficient (about 1 second latency in the info screens) should a dedicated box be the solution. One such is, for example, the TV or the Fire Sky stream.
