I am amazed at the consistently positive reviews on this CD. Do not misunderstand: I'm a fan since her first album of Madonna, but this compilation is an absolute impudence! "Material Girl", "Into The Groove", "Like A Prayer", "Express Yourself" are represented only in (bad) remixed versions. Especially the remix of "Like A Prayer" is the absolute low point of the CD for micht. Is that most of the rest of the songs abbreviated sometimes massive, can still cope halfway and is also the fact that the more songs could be accommodated on a CD, justifiable. But it would have been available more than enough material for a double CD. Where are "Angel", "Dress You Up", "True Blue", "The Look Of Love", "Oh Father", "Spanish Eyes" and so on? To top it (and probably to still rake in a little more coal), was still nachgeschoben the "Holiday Collection", on the addition to "Holiday" here missing but indispensable hits "Who's That Girl?", "Causing A Commotion "and" True Blue "can be found. To enjoy the original versions and the lack of songs, one has no choice but to buy up as the entire back catalog. This is probably the (marketing) thought behind. Conclusion: Stay away, rather just buy the original CD (have now been remastered) or wait for the definitive Madonna box set!
