Since the built-in motion in my outer wall lamps are seemingly not so insanely durable (failure rate 5 of 8), I bought later this motion. It is advantageous that the sensor already has a cable connection to the electronics. The case I have removed and the remaining electronics packed into a small zip bag, because the detectors are really only useful for indoor use and requires a moisture barrier. The connector is for someone who can hold a multimeter, a non-issue. The settings are made via DIP switches, which means only two stages in terms of sensitivity. The detector switches mechanically via a small relay, which means for me, that I can give power to the connected circuit also when switched off. Since I have always connected two detectors crosswise, for me an important criterion. The sensor I glued externally to the opening of the previously installed sensor, and the electronics installed in the supplied bag glued into the housing. The function is reliable for 4 months, the range is at low sensitivity setting about 4-6 m. The detection angle could be larger slightly larger. In summary, I could fix my outdoor lighting at the same function, so 5 stars for narrow money.
