After the R2 button jammed suddenly at my 1st DualShock 4, a new controller was urgently needed. I finally decided on the new white version, because I in my black pad often times have difficulty in the dark, which is also black "Option" - to find and "Share" buttons. With the white D4 is no longer a problem, because the dark keys all prima settle from the white casing and even with only moderate light conditions are clearly visible. Moreover, it seems so, as if the rubber coating of the sticks has been improved overall in all new controllers because they act now significantly stronger and more durable. Whether Sony also the R2 and L2 buttons improved inside or the easy-break snap-axis "strengthened" has, I can not say, but it would be desirable! My old controller I'll take the way soon with a brand new, imported from China R2 button back into shape! ;-)
