What's Shinobido?
Basically it comes to make a Ninja a name, this can be the orders of various daimyo (warlords) take to win their affection and friendship. It is a self who to leave because now want to serve or whether one really fixed to a. The whole is driven by a, well let's say rather unimportant main story continues, so you can deal with a story mission at regular intervals.
How expire the missions?
There are about 8 different mission objectives and several maps on which to play the missions, this one chooses through a menu in the details of the mission are explained. By the way you can also see how the mission affects the Daimyoas, if I assume for example a destruction mission of my group and kill the troops of a rival faction loses this something to military force (and you lose sympathy if you can escape a witness) and I gain more affection in my daimyo. So you can control the war specifically to an enemy weak enough until you can destroy him finally without any warlord suspicious (as long as you will not be discovered during missions).
At the beginning you doing relatively little choice and opportunities, but it come quickly new missions and new enemies in the form of Ninja clans and samurai added.
Other Ninja clans?
Jap. Just as her orders accepting the hostile clans accept orders from warlords and you will, willy-nilly fight these must as they are often placed on roofs or dark corners where you - as long as you do not by running as Rambo - about 80% of time will be on the road.
There are 3 different clans which differ in their behavior and also the fighting style, some you tear in open combat without problems in the air and some are faster than you and use them by running away from you, and torment you with throwing stars.
It will be interesting but only if you have already made you a name, and the clans pay attention to you because you are ready to go specifically for a time on you, do you mean: you take a mission in their plans a weapon shall steal and the warring Ninjas opt to watch the plans, even though the daimyo the plans do not include their usual "contractor" means.
Usually, you will be notified by mail when a ninja clan has explained to you the mortal enemy.
Otherwise, there is the alchemy with her ninja tools, poisons, traps or healing potions and stims can craft, more There is nothing more to say because it's actually pretty self-explanatory.
Gameplay:
Here is a left even as you want to play, you can sneak through and all enemies kill silently, the one in the way, one can rely on his tools and traps and watch as the enemies "even do" or simply as a lunatic ninja bombs hurling through the area.
Mainly, however, it is a stealth game). It is whether there are nearby enemies informed you at right of the screen by eye. By pressing this eyes the camera pans at the opponent. These eyes also indicate whether the enemy has recognized you, is suspicious, looking for you, etc.
Problems you get here often with the camera, this is controlled with the right stick, but swung completely useless by certain actions around which you - especially at the beginning - in a duel as an epileptic runs through the area, but ma gets used quite fast it.
For connoisseurs of the first part:
It has not really changed much, the gameplay has remained the same, it has only changed the main character and the instant Kills look different. The eyes have remained, they are now on the right side of the screen and you swung through the press of the eye to the opponent. Now there is a level system through which you can increase health threat protection and the scope of Enter hook. In addition, a new type of stealth kills can something the game takes because they are from a much too great a distance run, namely on sight. (You can also high levels in order to use them more often, at the beginning one is limited to a "super jump"). A few nice little things are still to come, you can see now, for example. what is changed by a mission (military, power suppliers, affection), has a better view of the daimyo and the graphics look a lot better than the PS2 version. To which is also noc heine new skill through which you can glide through the air, although is relatively useless in most levels, but a nice gimmick. The levels themselves seem to me relatively familiar, although there are not 1: 1 implementations but they remember but extremely strong in the first part. However, some are also 1: 1 implementations, such as the forest.
It can be still a few old acquaintances from previous and perhaps one learns indeed what has become of a warlord from the first part. ;)
Unfortunately, even some funny content has been removed:
-There Is no garden. I have no idea why but it has the "playground" away, which is the first feature that has been deleted.
-No Create missions for itself. Also fragllich why that was removed, as this reduces the replayability. (Thus falls also the exchange of missions away, you could in the PSP version)
-The Cutscenes when a Daimyo receives blueprints. Is now not too important but who have the game but something loosened up when a soldier his rulers throw a stone on the head and it extols the great secret weapon ... no longer there.
So completely incomprehensible things that gave it to the PSP which should actually be less powerful ... maybe some things are so I nachgepatcht but doubt it.
Why 4 stars?
Honestly, it would be the first Shinobido I play I would 5 be awarded, but was just too much recycled and in the wrong places taken too much so I just can not give full marks because I just a few things missing that the PS2 version had the unfortunately no longer exists here. Nevertheless, it is a great game that can entertain a long if one is interested in the setting and stealth games.
