Positives:
- The staging is 1a. The trick a video game with motion capture to create performance is wonderfully managed. Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe do their job as expected convincing, but also the supporting characters are very well staffed. I played it in its original language and can not comment on the German Synchro, but you can easily understand all the emotions are partially creepy coming over realistic. The music and the sounds themselves are very well mixed and will fit very well into the overall event, a few stuttering and dropouts removed times. On the whole, an exciting piece of Hollywood which is one presented here.
- The graphics are good to very good, sometimes a bit vague and rarely characters teleport briefly simply to get away ...
- The story is partly a bit turned off, as was the case already in Fahrenheit, but is so consistently pulled that one can only complain when a genre is not generally.
- Quick Time Events are well used, I personally am not really a fan of it, but for this game, it is part of it and was down to a few points and used well. Very strong were the fight scenes, there had to be taken here exactly on Jodie a struggle to survive flawless, which was not always so easy. Ultimately, it will change but not an awful lot if you do not get perfect the battle scenes out.
Negatives:
- The control is, unfortunately, very immature and inaccurate. Because you could have been making a lot better, all of the money but has probably put more in the acting and the graphics as in a game in itself. The long load times are unfortunately also been a bit annoying.
- The playing time is unfortunately still very short, which in today's games unfortunately usually the case. But perhaps it should just animate to play again, although the statement of Cage confronts that he was of the opinion that we should leave it at one go. Nevertheless me the game in its narrative and emotional so packed that a renewed passage is imminent.
- The much-heralded effects are a joke ... It took me a little reminiscent of the end of Deus Ex or Mass Effect 3, only had to push any buttons here. Since you can interested people also sometimes nice mislead when we speak of 23 different end, the most but differ only in about 2 sec movie itself (I just got on the other end informed;.)). It seems somehow so that games, the great freedom of action to announce not really do it lately, this really comply, at least for us gamers then also satisfactory.
- Still last for difficulty to good. As one of my outpost already wrote, the difficulty splits in too easily and too easily. Requirement is actually not to be found here, except you take should the imprecise control.
Conclusion: It may look as if would outweigh the negatives, here I am, however, received only little things that have personally bothered me a little. But nevertheless the game when it comes to interactive game is to resettle far forward. Not perfect, but entertaining and exciting and at some point it was hurting inside, if you had to put down the controller to also eat something in between can. In summary, the 4/5 star from me.
PS: The bonus content is very interesting, and not (as in LotR) too long and worthwhile really to be looked at. The issue raised by many censoring I think in this case, absolutely not bad or patronizing, it does not hurt the game and you have no way to get the feel half a game or so.
I hope I could help simplify the decision to buy this game (or not). And if you should buy it or already have, then a lot of fun, I had him! :)
