I devoured the adventures of Rohan Montauban but it happens 20 years later can certainly be read without having read the previous two. Vengance, betrayal, love, power, royalty: the plot is muscular, the hectic pace in a very nice style. It follows the investigation of the hero of the court of miracles to salons of Versailles with great pleasure and we savor the suspense masterfully led until the final pages. I recommend it enthusiastically!
