Until now I had always used a trackball to control my computer. The change from mouse to trackball I had started, as I much gentler on joints and poor find trackballs, and sit for many hours on the PC each day. Until recently I was there the accessories manufacturer Kensington remained loyal, and used their genius SlimBlade Trackball. Now I'm on Windows 8 came out (which I am very happy!), And was looking for a controller that lets me forget that I did not have a touchscreen. Kensington has to my knowledge no devices for Windows 8 presents, so I was feeling purportedly encouraged to switch.
Windows 8 can be also very good without touchscreen use, as well, now that Logitech T650 showed me. The extremely elegant and valuable touchpad is installed in 30 seconds, and off you go. The different gestures get the most out Windows 8 out, and give a all the great features that appear to be otherwise reserved touchscreen users. The feel is after the appearance of the device in nothingness. The glass surface affects not cold and hard, but rather pleasant and soft.
My greatest fear was before buying that the left and right mouse click is difficult. But that is absolutely not the case. The bottom two feet (bottom left -> left mouse button on the bottom right -> right mouse click) allow actual clicks. Just press the touchpad lightly, and certainly click is executed. Commands such as drag and drop and the like fall as easily as any other mouse. I would not have thought possible!

All these gestures are very natural and come the touch experience of Windows 8 almost identical. How the gestures work exactly are you looking but the best on the webite of Logitech in the product video of the T650 to (that would get out of hand here in much unnecessary text).
The gestures make the use of the tile interface of Windows 8 to bliss (excuse for unbridled euphoria). Although the service is great fun, the service is super-efficient - it must be!
(For Windows 7, if the touch pad is to be used so that, by the way gestures are included.)
With the clearly arranged contained software from Logitech, the functions of the touchpad modify. Of this I have so far not made use of because I am very satisfied with the default settings.
The integrated battery seems to last very long. So far I had not connect my notebook to recharge using the USB port the device.
I am completely satisfied and find: The device is absolutely worth the money!
