Valerie trierweiler gives a biased opinion of the Elysium and leaders of France. His book shows through but we can understand that for her all this is part of the "games". What bothers me in this book is not so much the image it gives of the state policy but the image it gives as a woman. She is the victim in history as deceived and betrayed that I do not deny it. But we are in the 21st century, and yet it reflects a docile image of women, almost submissive. Manhandled a moral standpoint, sluggish (see carrement not) it does not budge from his relationship with the president. I will go for a weak feminist, I do not understand that one can talk of "non-assistance to persons in danger" a year before the gayet case and choose to stay with such a man ... What bothers me it is this image that it conveys to people, that of a woman too weak, unable to "win" a relationship that seems destructive and unstable. She takes refuge behind political pretexts, curves unemployment, purchasing power, poll, vote of confidence etc .... After a political point of view the book brings a light on the true life in Elysium, and for this we must thank her. But I can not recommend this book, it is in my eyes an offense to the women of our time ...
