brilliant but not very well written

Attali presents a history of the world economy, the development of its nerve centers since the trade exists.
Then he conjures up scenarios for the future.
The analysis of the history as well as the imagination of the future are passionanantes and really bear thinking about our world, its purpose, its future.
However this book is poorly written, stringy, unstructured, scattered.
It's a shame: I take it a star for that.
