I do indeed still a mystery how mere 1.2x magnification can do so much, but after I've tested it myself, I can only confirm the other reviewers. I have around me some very critical objects, where the autofocus at the longer focal lengths traditionally very hard time. These are various antenna structures on the roof, where the distance setting must really correspond exactly, so that one finds out the braid sharply. This viewfinder I could immediately focus accurately. Having had this experience, I do not take them down. The field is a bit limited. If you want to see the display bar at the bottom, you have to look into it obliquely.
Conclusion: absolutely useful part to the last still possible extract from the photographic equipment.
