The most remarkable thing about the novel is probably his story. A young teacher, who pretends to be a widow and therefore gets into trouble when they should prepare their students on the wedding night. Since her widowhood is just a sham, she herself no idea and therefore holds the daring plan, -a known playboy and artists to ask the neighbors of the school property for help and information regarding this sensitive issue. He comes with this request on condition that it is for him model.
Although such a story is not very realistic, but the subject of enlightenment, or unexplained unit is well integrated into the story and believable embodied by the two Protaginisten. At the same time is generated in this way from the beginning, a voltage between the hero and the heroine, which holds from the first to the last meeting. In short, it's fun to see how they approach each other about a topic that generates both unease and curiosity. And somehow the idea of an educational class for young ladies is also great - if, as I said, even unrealistic.
Seen individually both characters could have a little more depth and sharpness tolerated. While they are certainly not superficial 08/15 figures, but as they are not quite right maybe. Overall, however, they are sympathetic and also very well drawn.
(Why the hero, however, must have a mustache, is beyond me. The one meets at Romance heroes yes today fortunately only rarely).
General seems to me the overall structure of the novel somewhat unbalanced. In some places it comes to detail to others it is afloat ahead with the action. I suppose this was the editor of his or her hand in the game. But that bothers overall not very, although there is still room for improvement.
Overall, it is a quite thrilling romance that if you can see through certain historical improbabilities away, perfectly entertains.
