This book does not surprise me in revenue presented, not that there is not original in flavor but mostly because there are a lot of classics in this book (marble cake , chocolate mousse, apple pie, ...). So when I flew the first day I was a little disappointed with my purchase, is inspecting more rigorously the recipes that I realized that originality was in the flavors and accuracy recipes. Let me explain: Everyone knows to make a chocolate cake, each has its own recipe, Cyril Lignac gives us a very precise recipe and inratable, while doing some taste suggestions and will always find the little thing that changes everything, by such as adding almonds to the chocolate cake which give the much less greedy and disgusting. I have for now is 6 recipes including a double and my family was thrilled, even for the classic recipes that I had done at home, the basis of this book is wonderful, very greedy, but less heavy other recipes to be found and when cool if we made too they look like the spreads house (which gave us ideas of course). One of the recipes was a little disappointed my family that said, the recipe for omelet with potatoes and chocolate sauce, not bad but potentially they found that it lacked flavor to their liking. Some recipes in this book call for seasonal products (melons, strawberries etc) and sometimes the most difficult products to find but they are relatively few in the end. Many very light and easy recipes, original fruit salads, glasses etc. Fruits are really honored. Under each recipe there is a council to change the recipe or to realize it without fail, which can be quite valuable for a beginner (my spouse is such a successful banana cake recipe in learning if the cake is browning too much during cooking he could put the aluminum above the mold and bake). So I advise this book especially for beginners in baking to start a collection of cookbooks, a little less to more seasoned cooks and pastry chefs who seek the surprise and discovery (although the recipes presented offer a range of original tastes and times much better than some other classic recipes).
