The programming system is very intuitive, day by day for the week at the desired time. You can disable it if necessary without having to reprogram thereafter (eg during holidays).
The navigation system is revolutionary. Thanks to the laser rangefinder, the vacuum cleaner scans the room and optimizes its path. The scan, done all the perimeter and eventually pass through the middle bands. Then he moves to the next room. Awesome! Much faster than a Roomba makes it more randomly using algorithms. In my case, the robot can do my T2 of 47m carefree while returning to its base! (It is not lost after being under the bed at the back of the apartment).
The magnetic tape provided to delimit certain parts is also very effective. Personally I use it to prevent to go to some inaccessible areas or congested.
Two caveats, however. The first is the noise. Yes it's a crazy noise. The flexible strips on hard ground are more discrete! But as it is programmable, the goal is to pass while we're just not there! After it is not necessarily much more noise than a normal vacuum cleaner after all. Do not expect to just watch TV as it passes in your living room;).
The second negative would be the borders. This former model is devoid of side brushes. The result is therefore sometimes a slight dust lane that remains on half a centimeter the lond walls or feet of some furniture. It's not huge, but on occasion, I pass a small cloth shot to compensate for that. Otherwise there is the latest model, the white that has a side brush that he is well. But it is 200 more !! It's been expensive option;).
Finally small personal advice to the dust bin. Feel free to wedge a piece of toilet paper in the filter. It avoids clogging it. You just put the paper in the trash every time the tray is emptied;). (Easier than cleaning filters and cheaper than to buy;))
