Buy recommendation - but for the settings you need a lot of patience

Since then more than 4 weeks I am in possession of the "Pro Flight Yoke System" + "Pro Flight Rudder Pedals". And I must say that I am really excited by these particles. BUT (.... always this thick BUT ;-)) for the right, each personal setting time must be brought.
The basic setting is the system fully automatically through the USB port. Sounds quite wonderful at first, but it's not, unfortunately. For there are also automatically set double occupancy. In my case it was so, that when I have quite simply "kicked" the pedals shortly after takeoff, the engine like a stone went down or drifted quickly above. A controlled, focused landing here, for example, not in it. Until I found out that if I had used the pedals, specifically the brakes, I simultaneously activated the elevator. I now had two elevators. Once at Yoke and then still on the pedals. Now the Einstellerei begins. Knowing well with the FS2004 or FSX from which resurfacing or erasure of the different switches is not a problem. I had two Seitenrruder shortly after the installation! Once as intended. To the pedal, but then also the quadrant namely the blue lever, the X-Rotation So I deleted the blue lever on the adjustment of the FS2004 and then occupied for the mixture adjustment. And then everything went as it should also :-)
But Saitek offers an additional software (SST software - "Saitek Smart Technology"), with which occupies these switches can be deleted or reassigned. BUT, this software is not exactly easy. Most of the settings I have done over the FS2004, and any fine adjustments to the right rudder stop, etc.! As written above, that does not happen overnight. But in principle it is possible, all the switches to demonstrate as you would like it in person! You can learn all the settings quasi from flight to flight.

Is anyone possibly overwhelmed with this whole thing (.... no one is perfect), no problem. Although Saitek offers a forum, but this unfortunately only in English. BUT, there are plenty of German forums, where one can be helped. Such as in the two German flight simulation journals of FlightXPress or the FS magazine!
Here was also helped me. Of course there are a lot of VAs, where there are different people who like to help here.

In short, someone puts no great demands in the consumption of the different switches that personal attitude in general, is completed very quickly. After some time, the occupation and the fine adjustment of the other many switch is not an issue. Here'll just really (very) much patience to be brought. The one all depends rather so clear and the other less.

Oh yes. If everything is set correctly and it also works as it should, even must be learned properly with the new particles, the "fly". It really is something else, as if I am now with a stick or with the Yoke approaching while operator nor the throttle and the pedals. It's getting used to and it'll just be learned. So please do not despair. Topic operation. At the bottom "wobbles" you get an off the pedals. But that is quite normal - despite correct setting !! One must not forget also here that most of the fliers, such as a 737, 747, MD11, or A320 in Real is controlled by a wheel from the captain of my hand. Also this there mitlerweile for the simulator.

What is also very important, is the correct and comfortable sitting position! If this is not given, makes the whole thing not fun. Again, I had to experiment a bit. It begins with the pedals. I have trodden the pedals, but sitting on an office chair with wheels, no maintenance is there and the chair rolled over and over again backwards. I have also placed a non-slip pad under the pedals. The slide that is also gone yet. The Yoke has two different settings with which this can be done at the table. So a little further back or stop forward. Again, everyone must "work out" its proper sitting position.
It also means that these elements better for fixed installations, ie a fixed place equipped, are only for the simulator. Is somehow, but our computer is used by two people, and I would like to "fly" the Yoke, the Qaudrant and the pedals are positioned within good 5 minutes at the right place. The more often you do it, this is going to so faster.
