By forced self-cleaning (undefeatable) artificially increased ink consumption :-(

I have at my home for over 1.5 years the previous MX515 in use. The printer itself, I am satisfied, Durckbild ok, price was reasonable, so far worked. BUT: The printer - does not depend on me permanently to the mains - leads each time an extremely loud and long real "ink wastage orgy" which could be prevented either in the menu on the printer or by other interventions. The ink consumption is thus about three times as high as necessary. Now that's truly customer- and environmentally unfriendly, especially as the Canon printers have anyway gained notoriety for your built-in life-limiting counters. Would I buy me no circumstances again. I hope that specialists and test magazines have targeted in future incorporate the points mentioned in its test reviews ...
