I have "C # in a Nutshell" gained because I wanted to learn for my introduction to the .NET Programming C # at the same time. Since I already have good C ++ - had end levels, I was looking for a site initially, the easier for me to switch - unfortunately without success. So I decided me for the said book. Although the switch from C ++ to C # is not the ultimate goal of the book, it is an excellent tool. In only 80 pages, it provides a short and crisp introduction to C #. The absolute basics of .NET are then further 130 pages explained. These parts of the book I like very much and have really helped. The remaining pages 500-600 occupies the chapter "API Quick Reference", in which the main .NET namespaces are documented. This section I use almost not at all, because the MSDN documentation the same supplier and the online computer. Since the introduction in C # is very brief, the book is probably less for the programming beginners, but is rather aimed at the experienced programmer. Except for the, in my eyes useless, "API Quick Reference" a very good book. But because the Reference is so long and so the price up drives only 4 stars.
