Auto mode works well in most cases. Of course, the camera can do much more. The user should be able to recognize when and how they need to intervene if he wants to achieve a particular result. In order to exploit the full potential of the camera should be as many basic knowledge of photography to acquire that one understands the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO and also can apply accordingly. Then the camera takes really great pictures, even in low light situations.
I particularly like that one in the Auto ISO function can limit upwards the ISO. Even the ND filter is to use well at the bright light or when a long exposure is desired. The lens ring can be assigned for each mode separately with a function. Although this is a little confusing but if you have become accustomed to a certain workaround also helpful.
It is also possible to operate the camera via the touchscreen. So can also set the focus and / or exposure point by tapping on a specific area and trigger at the same time example.
On vacation, it was found that a 5x zoom (to photograph eg the wind surfing children on the lake or marmots in the Alps) in some situations but not enough. Then the DSLR but had to be used.
I really enjoyed my battery was sufficient, but for people who do a lot of images or movies at the same time also worthwhile in any case, a second battery.
