Commissioning
The machine was delivered within 3 days of order at Amazon from Hermes (Möbelspedition). The nice staff recognized me right out that the transport locks must be removed prior to commissioning. My better half thought but when you connect the machine, there would be no been. Stupid as I am sometimes, I believed him, with the result that the WaMa hopped through our laundry room during the spin cycle in the first test.
For the barriers I would have liked better labeling. The white plastic parts (s. Photo) at the back look like tube holders and are also backed up with bold screws. After removal but all was well, the machine hurled properly and after the initial shock, the pleasure came across this great part.
The manual can I find a bit confusing and unstructured, the Installation Instructions can be found somewhere at the end of the booklet.
Processing / volume
Since there is absolutely nothing to complain about, all the parts to make a durable and robust impression. The machine is really very quiet, you can hear mainly noise during the washing process, if the garments are moved in the drum or if it attracts water. The operating noise during start-up is extremely quiet and as well as the spinning process, even at high speeds.
First, the drum had not so big, but this is deceptive, I have hardly a chance to stuff the drum completely, as I like to do it otherwise. Also a bunch of linen or duvets fit comfortably into it.
Operation / programs
My old machine was easy to use, this one is quite similar. A button in the center to select the programs and buttons around around display for selecting spin speed, wash temperature, etc. At first I was looking for the control keys, which are virtually invisible and react even to light finger pressure (touch buttons).
An important feature is the delay start for me because I can adjust the morning before work, the time and when I get home, the laundry is finished and is not spending hours in the drum. The start time can be easily programmed and set with the +/- button the required number of hours. The display is large and easy to read.
There are special allergy programs with additional rinse cycles, extra quiet programs eg for washing at night. Located 15 minutes of programming I have not been used in my old WaMa, but it exists.
Very good, I like that even after the program is started may also have laundry can be refilled, and spin speed and some of the additional settings can be, depending on the program progress usually still change.
There is also a child safety lock against accidental changes by curious offspring.
Washing results
Impeccable, after removing the laundry has only a low residual moisture, existing patches were removed well.
If the stain setting there are several options (Normal / blood / plants / red) because the machine makes apparently based on the soaking time differences.
I sit there rather on extra stain or treat stains beforehand with liquid detergent.
By AquaSensor the turbidity of the rinsing water is determined and set any additional rinses. It is similar with the foam detection, is too much foam produced by any overdose, there are additional rinses.
The balance system is reduced with an unfavorable distribution of laundry spin speed.
Since I use mostly low washing temperatures (40 °) and often liquid detergent, I also find the drum nursing program interesting. My old machine smelled from time to time and after I made smart why this is and regularly ran a 90 ° wash program and often times take for washing powder, this has given. Here the machine remembers about such things and prevents odors.
After completion of the washing process, the machine will beep 3x and is ready for the next load of laundry.
I have broken my (accumulated) of laundry within a few days and may yet find absolutely nothing I would complain to the machine. It's a real joy to use them if I still notice something, I'll possibly add a response yet.
