On technical details I will not go especially in my review as this have some made before me and also everyone who buys a camera usually can read data sheets. I myself have taken the Canon EOS 650D incl. 18-135 STM as a Christmas present and I must say I was not disappointed. I had previously been in between the 400d and 600d and are opposed to the somewhat outdated 400d already worlds. Opposite the 600d I could with the image quality, no differences recognize, however, the 650d but some features more. Whether you need this or not we must each decide for yourself, you want to just take pictures then you certainly also served very well with the 600d. Whether new features such as night shots without a tripod or HDR mode you need or how useful this feature is also each own left. It is nice that they are there but me they would not come off. The video mode with STM I find then but very practical because you now and some games will make short videos and manual focusing (without STM) with time then is annoying. At first I was a little skeptical whether a display with touchscreen but I must say I is comfortably got used to it very quickly and it is simply faster and more comfortable at your destination. Since I photograph also often at night, it is also an advantage that I do not want to miss. With the kit lens 18-135 STM I am also very satisfactory it clear there are better and faster lenses, but as always top is perfect for me as an amateur. Since I am more frequently when traveling I try of course to keep the weight and volume as low as possible and I do not also constantly change lenses and the focal length range I'm actually getting out. Maybe I'm going to have a fast wide-angle fixed focus lens Obejktiv set if I yet again with the kit lens to my limits but come let's see. Whether there are other manufacturers (Nikon, Sony, ...) more about the money, I can honestly do not judge - I had only Canon cameras and was never disappointed and the service seems to be very pleasant. Who is looking for a DLSR not only for the beginner area is very well served with this unit or bundle. I have never regretted definitely buying and both body and lens is all my needs.
A small addendum to Amazon: I first ordered one from Amazon Warehouse deal and I would recommend this only. The articles state was declared as "very good" and I could not tell the difference to a new device. - No scratches, ... and in sum I could buy the kit to just over 800 which is quite a bit of savings. Here's a tip for my Austrian colleague: Since Amazon unfortunately sent the Warehouse Deals only to Germany (for whatever reason) I ordered on Logoix. In Logoix you get a German mailbox and the package you can then have it sent easily to Austria
