The book is very well done (perfect stitching). The translation is not a word for word translation, but is adapted to our present talk, which a priori could disconcert but cutting is very efficient. Thus, between the two texts facing the number of sentences may be different, but this is due to the fact that we do not form sentences in the same way. We found it very easily by cutting into paragraph and under division into numbered parts. The original text is in Old Icelandic (and not modern for once) which is great for learning the language. Having an updated French text helps to understand how, once the ancient Icelandic text translated literally modernize the text without betraying. This is a great tool for learning the language in addition to the book of Christopher Edge (Introduction to the Old Norse language) and Régis Boyer (grammar elements of the old Icelandic). Excellent bibliography at the end of volume.
