The license has emerged in the 90s, for fans of the series, this album will definitely bury the game fundamentals that made the charm of Rainbow Six. Indeed, by the finesse, complexity and strategic difficulty that we could find before (travel, recognitions, infiltration etc ...), has been simplified to a minimum, certainly to make gameplay more accessible to a majority of players .
This choice has the effect of removing all the substance, the depth of the game Rainbow Six. The core of the game was lost. Linear and overly repetitive, the app does not offer a really exciting scenario. Remains a rather balanced, and realistic action that is not unpleasant and happily brings some interest to all.
Graphically, this is getting old but still pleasing to the eye. Alone again, the few cutscenes inadequate (thankfully Ubisoft recent years has evolved considerably) and fail to immerse ourselves. Playability, very special for Vegas 2 (almost identical to Rainbow Six Vegas), require time to adapt but s' is effective.
In conclusion, Vegas 2 voluntarily abandons what was the strength of Rainbow Six, that is to say the complex tactical aspect, to head an SPF mixing a soft infiltration, and a balanced action. An obvious lack of variety in situations, finally had a very basic scenario does not break this game for some construction that will seem very bland.
Good game to you.
