Caution: Additional to the deluxe edition at the end!

ABBA fan since 1974 and all Agnetha solo albums are in my shelf, I have this woman idolized as a boy and was obviously really surprised and happy that she is gone to the studio again and has recorded this album. With the vote I took my time, because I had to get used to the CD but because they simply left no Eindruch on first hearing and also the second, third, with me. So went right into the ear so no song and genuine sellers are nowhere. Perhaps "Dance Your Pain Away" still somewhat useful as a single, but more is there not easy. But when Agnetha I was stubborn and did the album belongs again and so slowly the songs come with me and I can now enjoy. An exciting book there and the atmosphere is perfect. 8 of the songs are ballads, a duet with Gary Barlow is midtempo and "Dance Your Pain Away" a disco song in the style of the 90s. Vocally I find Agnetha still fascinating and you can also quite yet, perhaps not quite as bright and clear as before, but also the voice matures and even Nana Mouskouri has sometimes "scratched" in their late shots.
So I can the enthusiasm of some people here do not connect, was "A" but 4 stars because it just yet quite comes along, even if it did not make me downright blown away right away. But then I heard the old albums again and have to say that "A" there is then still slipped with me at No. 2, according to "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" from 1983. And gold has indeed been given : from England, Australia and a Scandinavian country. Addendum on 20/11/2013: Now comes in two days, the Deluxe Edition, in itself nothing new that comes indeed from almost all successful albums sometime, but is it true that you only to insert a DVD and not a single bonus track? That would be very poor, at least there were in other countries singles with remixes, which one does to a deluxe CD would need to pack. Only a one-hour documentary, of the likely 90% old material from any ABBA documentaries, do not just stir up buying this double album. Perhaps this someone who knows if it really is no longer available on the CD and are reading this indeed a comment !? Addendum on 22.11.2013: Of course, I bought the deluxe edition as Ur-ABBA fan, especially of Agnetha, although I very regret that you can not at least the remixes of the singles which have appeared in other countries, with has draufgepackt because when these CDs are never released here in Germany. Thus, there is nothing to the CD to continue writing. Thank goodness it has the DVD in and there are not only together cut ABBA scenes, the fans have on various DVDs already, but especially a recent BBC interview with Agnetha, which is cut between the scenes, and that I found particularly noteworthy, also Björn and Benny express themselves fully up to date on Agnetha's new album. The three, of course, interviewed separately, seem very relaxed and it's fun to watch these superstars of the 70's out of date. To this end, express also the producer of the album, a meeting with Gary Barlow and Agnetha was filmed, Tim Rice and others who accompanied Agnetha on their way (Lolo Murray as a stylist and wardrobe woman who accompanied already ABBA) tell a bit about them , and all this combines into a relaxed hour's fun for Agnetha fans. Commendably, it has burned even the video for "When You Love Someone" on the DVD, so we can play now this home fans again. For true fans including the Deluxe Edition is recommended, those who want to just listen to the music, to "A" can mittlerweilse for about 7 euros buy. And the more I've heard this album, the better I liked it. Today it is for me already one of the finest albums that have appeared this year and therefore I increase currently even now my rating of 4 to 5 star. So who in a quiet, emotional music for the fall and for the holiday season searches without listening to Christmas music, can the chimney fire, brew tea and sit back with "A" in bed! Even non-ABBA fans will like Agnetha new album!
