Now the product:
I had my two 64GB deliver these sticks, as they were just very convenient for 19.
After a review of existing reviews I'm already become suspicious because of these write rates in the range of 8 MB / s to 55 MB / s reported thus differ almost by a factor of 8
,
However, I am first of human errors at the keyboard or assumed poorly configured systems, which have led to the bad writing results.
Unfortunately, I was disabused.
I also write rates of just so the 10 MB / s.
That is ridiculous for a current USB 3.0 Stick in size and with the "Ultra" claim.
The manufacturer advertises so open with "Up to 100 MB / s" and "up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0."
That this is an elastic concept was clear but only 10 MB / s indicates a defect, open fraud or cheap copies that are in circulation.
Fraud I would assume Sandisk under any circumstances, because I use dozens of products of this company and was previously imemr satisfied.
A defect can not Exclude one, especially since Chrystal Disk spends my readings of over 130 MB / s (too much) and write transfer rates of 10.8 MB / s (too little). But at the same time with two sticks and many other customers? That makes a defect unlikely I think.
Since almost only the copies / fakes remain on as grounds ....
I had the sticks can also directly send back to Amazon, this does not have but done deliberately and only once informed Sandisk. There is currently running a second-level inquiry. Also amazon I have informed about the problem.
As soon as I hear of a new I'll update the review.
Update 26.11.
Sandisk has spoken on the subject. I was offered a replacement. It was explained to me that Sandisk is involved as a producer of high-quality storage media greatly from illegal product copies / fakes.
Therefore my request: Check your sticks directly after receipt for compliance with the standard values. If this is not met, the suspicion of a forgery is close.
Update end
At the same time I also received two Sandisk Extreme 64GB sticks.
These run-standard for me with about 80-90 MB / s write and 170MB / s read (CrystalDiskMark incidentally reports synthetic 203 MB / s read and 170MB / s write).
A real treat and fascinating fast. Because this stick just only 33 will cost you'd better strike there, then you get a product that will provide you with pleasure!
