The ASUS UX300 is an affordable gaming mouse. The mouse is not advertised as a gaming product, but it has a few features that quite likely to come from the gaming area, such as the LED in the mouse wheel, or the separate DPI switch with which it is possible, the resolution increment or down to terms with one keystroke. When switching the LED changes in the color wheel, and it is another red LED additionally switched to the permanently turned-blue LED. The scanning of the mouse is performed optically with a blue LED on the bottom. This works very well in most applications scenarios, only on glass, or highly reflective surfaces, it works rather badly. Otherwise, the scan is however quite reliable and without jumps. A major advantage of UX300 is their very light weight, which allows a very pleasant service. Unfortunately, however, was saved by the cord is long enough, but unfortunately relatively rigid, so that it is often in the way. But this is certainly due to the very low price. The Other workmanship is very good, though certainly not the highest quality materials were used, so the mouse is from the feeling quite wertig what you among other things it noted that it does not creak when you touched something solid. In direct comparison with the twice as expensive Logitech G300, the UX300 is not too bad there, which I consider justified the additional investment for the G300 because it has a more comfortable mouse cable, but that's more personal preference. For reference, also attached a photo of the mouse cable to the UX300 after 3 weeks of use, the cable still has its original packaging kinks. Overall, I think the UX300 for a good entry-level gaming mouse to a very attractive price point. Those who want more must pay more, but that is offered here for little more than 15 totally acceptable.
