I was looking for a cheap as possible Shoulder Mount for my EOS camera. This one is also noh collapsible and fits perfectly in my camera backpack.

But how does it look like in practice?

Sure, that part is no comparison to more expensive devices, but if you do not too much emphasis on it has (7D & microphone is not a problem) then it is much better than from the hand, so an improvement!

Monitor etc I would not grab it, but everything if one is careful in all, a good rig.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

I have interposed at each joint between helical vanes and frame a thin washer rubber (pinch sealing ring), without which the rig would be almost useless.

The fact that you have to tune it a star deduction, otherwise top (of course with regard to the price !!!)
