The panel itself is made of thin plastic, the thread does not look stable, to a putting on the panel I have the same time waived. In the original part is not doing a ring adapter, since the lens also has a plastic thread. So you installed the original part with the ring adapter which protects the plastic thread of the lens. In this panel but no adapter is included, so you have to screw directly into the lens. What such a plastic thread holds long term of one can imagine quite well.
Inside the panel is not matted or lined. The aperture of Canon inside is lined with velvet, so that reflections are suppressed. This one, however, is smooth and reflects. Through this reflective inner surface, this panel can its function no longer really meet and is best to use as too expensive Platzebo.
Also nice:
- The packaging is white and red on the tabs (such as the original box of Canon)
- On the packaging as the lettering on the panel ES-62 is printed (this designation carries the original article written in Canon)
- On the back of the package stands as a company name CANON INC.
I am disappointed to the effect of Amazon on the type of product presentation. Amazon sells that course accessories from other manufacturers must not be discussed. Alledings I would have liked a * unique * Marking the panel as part of a third party. Added to this are the presentation and the product name. The description suggests an original part.
The thing is now back again.
