Caution:
This review refers to the version with Dualsim. The here offered by Amazon Huawei Honor has only 6 Singlesim. Please note only those aspects, of which the Dualsim function is not affected.

I have since the beginning of October, the Huawei Honor 6 (H60-L02) in black with 16GB, so the variant with Dualsim and LTE.

The Huawei Honor is my 6 11. China smartphone. So I can well compare to other models draw (among other things, for. Example for Xiaomi MI3 or Jiayu G4T etc.). Privately, I use an iPhone 6, have however already used other manufacturers (eg Samsung Galaxy S3). Thus, I have wide-ranging experience, which I here - extended by the Honor 6 of Huawei - want dokumetieren.

Optic / Design:
First impression: Wow. The device feels very high quality and is great in the hand. One often reads of cheap plastic. Yes, it is plastic, but cheap? No! The device is very nice and flat and offers neutral, elegant design. The thickness is real 7,83mm (even measured it)!
Due to the on-screen display in the front keys is really simple and timeless. Here you will find only the front camera and the Notification LED.
On the back of the device is also made of "glass". Only the Schiftzug "honor" decorated besides the camera / flash and 2-3 Chinese notes the overall picture. Quite nice: The light is mirrored in the back so that the center of the reflections is on the lettering.
The jack and the infrared LED (!) Are located on the top of the unit. Below is just the Micro-USB connector. Right are the volume rocker and the Lock button.
Under a fairly broad cap on the right side 2 SIM slots (1x LTE) and a micro SD slot (up to 64GB) come to the fore. It is to say that the processing of the cap and the fit are really excellent!

Power:
In Honor 6 a house HiSilicon KIRIN operates 920 Octacore with 4x 1.7GHz and 1.3GHz 4x. Is topped all by a 600MHz graphics processor and 3GB RAM rich.
These data are likely to be expected to some and can compete with the current Battleship competition.
The power is enormous! The device runs under all circumstances (even in sleep mode) butterweich. There is no stuttering or other interruptions. Even complex 3D graphics applications the processor cool. Benchmarks are always gladly taken as a reference. Even if that is not so much interested me: A Galaxy Note 3 or HTC One M8 seen against the Honor 6 from old.
The 3GB of course more than enough. In order to reach their limits because you really have extremely much memory Carnivorous Apps have run at the same time. I did not make it ...

Display:
The display has 1920x1080 pixels on a 5-inch diagonal. The resulting pixel density of the resulting 441ppi sufficient to produce a super picture clarity, should be clear. But also in brightness, color reproduction and viewing angles the display convinced me wholeheartedly. Touch gestures are reliably detected and the accuracy leaves no wish unfulfilled.

Terms, OS:
On an in-house Huwei Android 4.4.4 Laucher runs called EMUI 3.0. What could be used to for many: There is no App-Draw. Others already know the might of Xiaomis MIUI to which the EMUI 3.0 really extremst "remembered". Since I come from the iOS world, it bothers me, of course not ... quite the contrary.
EMUI is a very chic, playful little system with a lot of "depth". In intensive work, you realize that there are countless settings, with which you can adapt his system. Features that I previously only from the CyanogenMod (and MIUI) knew how to manage individual permissions of apps are already integrated here.
It is especially to be highlighted that the Dualsim management is very comfortable and intuitive. Individual compounds, behavior in certain scenarios, sounds etc. can be adjusted individually for each Sim.
The quick access to the settings has a lot of ways, for example: wireless, mobile data, 4G, sounds, settings, Bluetooth, airplane mode, auto rotate, GPS, Screenshot, flashlight, auto-sync, volume, multi-screen, brightness ...
Cute EMUI gimmick: The Entsperrbildschirm background changes each unblocking and selects at random a picture.
With the "Germany-integration" I had no problems. Mir is the weather in the home automatically displayed and the Google Play services to function fully.

Cameras:
The camera is in my judgment in order. Photos are dissolved with 13MP and have a pleasant depth of field and color reproduction. That sounds not very enthusiastic, but the camera does definitely in the top league!
The camera app offers several features and gimmicks, such. As sound or Lächelaktivierung, face detection, filter, pan, and of course a good HDR.
Thanks to the f / 2.0 aperture much light hits the sensor. However, this is also necessary because of the dual-LED flash is a little weak on the chest.
Something I was disappointed with the front camera. Despite that this dissolves with (exaggerated) 5MP, the images look a bit pale and mushy. For Selfies, video telephony and other jokes but more than adequate.
Videos can be recorded at 1080p, FullHD So with 30fps. The quality is great and playing naturally quick and smooth.

Connection, Battery, Other:
Highlight the connection is secure the support LTE. Since I myself use no LTE, I can only say from external sources that it is functioning properly. It supports the data sheet all popular bands (800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600, 1900, 2300, 2500, 2600MHz).
The wireless coverage is excellent. I can find no disadvantages such. As compared to the iPhone 6. WLAN runs usual fast and mobile surfing's fun.
The voice quality is excellent. China smartphones generally have a clear and loud sound, especially in the earpiece. One can well understand me and I understand my interlocutors also very good.
General to sound: Even the sound on the jack (with the setting DTS) is wonderfully clear and has rich bass. At this point it should be mentioned that the system music player is very clear and numerous functions (eg folder playback) has. Music control with a third party headset also works perfectly.
Battery performance is very satisfactory. With intensive use (Whatsapp, Facebook, music, surfing) I get loose 2-3 days. Such power has been able to provide only the MI3 of Xiaomi me. But Huawei goes one better: There are several power-saving options. If you select "Ultra", the phone will be reduced to telephone and message reception and black and white screen. Without having tested it I hold a term of more than 10 days possible. If that's still not enough: With the "Rog-Technology" the 1080p display is scaled to 720p and saves by the lower number of pixels again additional battery!

Criticism:
Of course you can also complain about 6 am Huawei Honor. What many China phones are unfortunately have a lot of pre-installed China garbage apps. These are represented on the Honor 6 unfortunately in large numbers (> 10), but can be easily uninstall. Fortunately, however, I would not have had liked it. Some apps are fixed to the system and can be removed only with root authority. This is also less tragic, because there are already several Roots for the device. Annoying it is anyway.
Another limitation provides the translation into German. This is not as good as mature as in the MIUI EMUI. One meets in many places on Chinese characters or absurd translations. The same applies to the English translation.
Although it sounds bad, I have always been "my goal" and that's what counts. In addition, little argues against time to try a different launcher.

Overall conclusion:
The Huawei Honor 6 H60-L02 is a premium Android smartphone and in my experience the best that I've ever owned. A rich feature set offering other manufacturers also, but not so noble and compactly packaged as in Honor 6. It is very fast, smart, very durable and well thought out by the operator forth. That it additionally two simcards (and 1x with LTE!) And an SD card is managed simply unique (truly unique) top class!
The mobile phone impresses as "Daily Driver" in every respect.

For this price you get at present nothing that even comes close to the Honor 6 can hold a candle. Only the MI4 from Xiaomi can keep up here ... but also (for the price range) again comparatively expensive. In addition, this dual SIM and SD slot is missing.
