I've used both SBH80 with the Galaxy S4 Sony Xperia Z2, Win8, MacOS, car (Audi & Mercedes).
Here are my impressions:
Positives:
+ Reduce cable clutter!
+ When not wearing the earbuds dangling just down and not disturb or are cleared
+ The ear pieces are very small
+ The control possibilities are great, since one when listening to music and calls has full control and the phone does not have to get out to switches to and fro
+ The headset will ring for calls - that is the risk of whether the noise insulation, the phone does not hear
+ The Klangqulität is very good - I would say better than the BOSE!
+ Music is really clear and the bass is surprisingly good (especially when you consider the size of the earbuds) the bass is much better than the BOSE.
+ Voice quality for calls is very good - in both directions (according to statements significantly better than the BOSE - which was also very good)
+ This is probably due to the dual microphone
+ Wearing comfort is usually very good - after a short time you realize not that you wear something on the neck.
+ The ear pieces are very comfortable to wear and fit very well (small, medium and large are included)
Neutral:
o Battery life is 7-8 hours which is OK but not amazing
o is Loaded via Micro USB, the flap is made of plastic and will eventually wear out (in the distant future).
o At the beginning you have to adjust the bracket to his personal neck
o less suitable for people with very thick neck, since then continues to slide the controls backwards and eventually also the Mirko can no longer be used ideal
o Volume - was criticized in some tests ... can with mobile phone on full volume to regulate these via headset wonderful. Due to the noise suppression I never run my 100% volume. However, if you want to read out the eardrums, the headset is not in fact geeingnet.
Negatives:
- When wearing shirts with not optimal since slipping through the collar either the bracket to the rear-down (especially when sitting) which can be prevented by a jacket, or placing it under the collar, which is very pleasant, however the microphones negative impaired.
- No battery indicator (except for the Xperia Z2 because I get shown how long will the battery yet). - However, there are about 1 hour and 30 minutes a beep in the headset so that you can recharge time before empty battery.
- Some telephone conversations a bit quieter than others - if that is the headset I do not know.
CONCLUSION:
Class Headset with little weaknesses which I can overlook the good overall picture - particularly when used with the Sony Xperia Z2 is the headset of the hammer, because it is super supplemented with Sony features.
Overall, it's definitely worth the SBH80 closer look if you are looking for a headset tangle-free.
For me the best headset that I had previously.
Therefore, there is of me a buy rating
