I've been waiting on this DVD and it of course immediately pre-ordered when it became known when they will appear. Here still, kudos to Amazon, thank you that I got to hold the DVD + CD on Friday in his hand.
Then of course the same chucked, plant turned and pressed "Play" ..... And I have to say: "yeah Ohhhhhhhh !!!"
Real a brilliant DVD that makes you feel good and a successful end of the solo career of Pierre Baigorry alias Pete (r) is Fox. Already the first song "The monkeys climb on the throne" has done it to me properly and then "locomotive on 2 legs" follows the live feel is right back! All this then finds its culmination with "April showers" or "Thick end". For sound I can only say: top!
I have, however, also "only" a stereo, but that what is out there is really top notch.
The bleating at the place I can not understand why Peter Fox does not make its live DVD at the place which he dedicated that album?
Also, I was at another concert ("The Celebration" in Karlsruhe), and it bothers me not at all, the show is the same anyway. ;-)
In the image I need to complain, however, that sometimes in some dark scenes a bit 'krieselt ", but otherwise is that (for a DVD) perfectly okay (had it looked at a 23" FullHD screen to full screen)
The pity is that there were licensing issues for "Black on Green (Give it to me)" and "Kashmir", which are therefore not represented on the DVD. Also "Thick End" appears to have been reduced because of this.
The documentary parts fit nicely in the concert film, but a function like "Only concert film without docu-Parts" would have been nice.
Another small gripe for me is that at "Haus am See" the children's voices that sing on the DVD, unfortunately, even with the audio CD case which could have been let out quietly.
Nevertheless, a clear recommendation for those who like Peter Fox and the live feel want to get.
