I have the LG 42LM640S purchased on Saturday at M-Market I trust (599 Ink all cables and wall mount -. Brilliant price!). For this I've still got a PS3, an AV receiver from Onkyo and Canton speakers.
There are I think enough reviews describing the image (btw it is really very good - I have no clouding or something.!) - I will briefly describe the smart features, which are still incredibly exciting:
Device compatibility:
So easy it can be! The USB ports are labeled (USB HDD, USB HUB, USB), so you can see quite well where what must be pure. My mouse + keyboard he has directly detected (dt. Keyboard layout), which has not even lasted 5sec.
. My external 3.5 "hard drive (1TB) was recognized as fast the hard drive is listed as an additional input channel, it selects it so you can navigate through the entire hard drive contents - totally easy given the Smart TV plays any audio or video Format of me without any problems from (whether .mkv, .mp3, .wav, .jpeg, etc.).
No matter what I it detects via USB dranhänge immediately - really good.
Smart TV World:
The App Store "from LG seems to be pretty well filled -.! More boring and uneventful for me since I use little apps directly on the Smart TV YouTube (YT) App has at least solved excellently All videos are directly (if available) as 1080p play video - thanks to fast WLANs (300 Mbit / s) and our fast VDSL line run the videos smoothly - top!
There is also the possibility YT to drive through the browser - can namely Flash and very good.
Facebook and Twitter are available directly on the Smart TV - either by an open Web browser - which also works great - just how to operate the LG LM640S best?
The Answer:
LG Apps for Tablet:
I own a few weeks ago the Nexus 7 tablet from Asus. LG has Android (as far as I know also for iOS?) Published an App to the Smart TV remote control "(if both devices on the same network are booked one).
The app works great! Whether you move the mouse or performs per SWYPE inputs, it is transferred directly and without delay - for me a total relief and a good alternative to fiddly remote control.
3D:
Now briefly about 3D. I thought that 3D is me not really captivate, but after I had been playing on the PS3 Uncharted 3 "in 3D, I have made 3D rarely;))) - the balls come a quasi contrary flown and otherwise the 1a quality - really very convincing and really fun.
Conclusion:
Class equipment for a great price. I have to say I do not regret the purchase date. Very good picture, great connectivity, hammer functions and incredibly good 3D experience. An investment that was well worth it (especially for the price).
