Class training aid me smaller weaknesses

After I had already 7 years training with a heart rate monitor from Polar (F7) and thus respect. Diet & Fitness astonishing success have achieved, it was for different reasons time for another workout companion.
So I would also like to express that it was a quantum leap towards the V800 and the flow web service from my perspective (Compared with other reviewers who have a different GPS clock had before V800).
I away. Stagnation regarding the desired training goal of better fitness and better endurance, change my training had (more different sports like running, swimming, cycling, Nordic walking, cross-trainers, etc.) also wanted a well-functioning Activity Tracker and a reliable GPS function, I chose the V800 with the matching H7 chest strap (Info to everyone who might hope that the V800 may still work with another, older Bluetooth chest strap Polar: Forget it, this is definitely not the case!)
Both clock as well as belt were because I did not want a "boring black", appointed in blue.
I laying beside functionality -Of course also important to us that such a clock looks good and is comfortable to wear. And these two points satisfies the V800 fully in blue for me. You wird- regardless that it has an Activity Tracker attracted -also to go out, because the clock is just an eye-catcher. The shimmering silver, brushed metal on the housing fits perfectly to the blue bracelet. See the lateral push buttons with their subtle grid pattern well, have this in comparison with the remaining clock as I find -richtige size and have a well-balanced, excellent tactile feedback.
That the bracelet for some to be too large, I do not deny the respective reviewers. For me as a man and prior F7- users, it is very comfortable to wear a bracelet at this size because that bracelet F7 (which at that time was designed for women and men) definitely too playful for me to narrow appeared.

Some reviewers describe that closing the bracelet a little fiddly affair is. I can confirm that, but for me is not really a factor carries weight, as this will get better over the use of the clock.

For functionality: At the moment the right app for V800 is indeed available in Google Play Goals. It is true, however, that it is still not coupled with the clock. This update is still pending and should come to the end of 2014 at the latest for Android.
I use the clock, therefore, in combination with my iPad 4, and that is available for polar Flow app (for iOS, this app is already available in German. For Android, at least until recently -vorerst only in English. This is to be lt. Polar also change the end of the year).
The couple is hereby when the Bluetooth on the iPad -absolute smoothly. So that the data can be transferred without any problems to of completed workout.
It pleases me very much that the app is synchronized to coincide with the Flow Web on the Internet and also makes immediately alert you when an item to be playing an update for the clock is available.
However, this is in fact only when the clock is connected using the supplied USB cable to a PC on which the program "Polar Flow Sync" is installed. This can, however, download and problem- free from the Internet.

For those interested the V800 should be noted that the clock does not come with detailed operating instructions. This is but also to load easily from the Internet as a PDF file free of charge.

As a training aid, the V800 is very reliable both at home / as well as outdoor sports. It can be here generate numerous Sortprofile over the Polar web service flow. The heart rate signal is transmitted efficiently to the chest, the GPS signal is here where I live (with a lot of woods and hills around it) found quickly. Even when walking through dense forest, I had never the problem is that the signal is lost. The data (speed, lap time, distance, distance) are reliably recorded and depending on the selected sport profile.
While swimming, I use a "full body swimsuit." The signal is also hereby with applied chest belt - usually properly transferred.
Whether and how much the belt would slip without bathing suit I can not judge, however.
Very good I think also the motivational messages to the completed workouts. Since you want to prefer to train again.
After each unit there is a small pooled feedback on what exactly has been improved through the training completed (tolerance of intense workouts, speed, lipid metabolism, etc., etc., etc.,)
Depending on the type of load, the user is (but get only on the PC) per message communicated if eg after a training session, a cool-down is necessary. I've always been a little neglected before buying the V800. Now that one of them for regular exercise.
So up to this point a really fantastic clock, which I would define me any time !! The clock some stress in everyday life exposed and has still gotten no single scratch. I wonder what must be the very stable glass case! Top !!

But now even the one or other annoying drawback:
What some previous reviewers report here, agrees. The digital display shows the clock Pixel errors can be seen in fact in some functional displays. What bothers me is that a bit.
And what's a little annoying: The inside of my blue bracelet changes color over time into the slightly yellowish! Presumably, by this course, completely -normal perspiration during exercise! This can be far also cleaned with hot water and mild soap not remove!
That to me is really (at a sports watch that was originally traded for 450) an absolute NO GO! That is simply not acceptable !!
The bracelet is outside of it so far not affected.

Therefore I forgive at this point "only" 4 of otherwise really like awarded 5 stars. I'll try again on Polar a statement to bekommnen this and then possibly to update my review.

Nevertheless, the V800 is for me due to the many functions of the great design's, the innovative web services and the reliability of a pleasure and strong buy recommendation!
Update:
Now the time has come. Since January, there is the Polar Flow app for Android with coupling function for the V800. Works very smoothly at least for me. By design, almost a little more beautiful than on iOS / IPad.
But beware: In contrast to the use with iPad, I can under Android only the V800 synchronize with the Smrtphone if I this occasion the chest strap! It will not happen here at least for me.
The overall package of the V800 is therefore worth me immediately 5 star.

Update 2 from 17.04.2015:
Unbelievable. Now the Polar V800 is almost penny!. It is for SmartWatch. With today's update message the Polar V800 now supports relating to messages / SMS / messengers / calls and messages from social networks in which you have an account. This update concerns first Iphone Users must download the Flow of this app from the AppStore, or an update to perform the same. The connectivity with Android this will follow in the "in the 2nd quarter" of this year! Just great Polar !!
