The D'Addario EJ27N are characterized by high quality workmanship. At first I was a little worried about the vague, obertonarme articulation. Previously I had the much more expensive Dougal in use. The latter are characterized not only to the good sound quality is also characterized by the same string tension. This means that each string has the same voltage. This is of course in the more favorable D'Addario not entirely the case. After a few days, the sound quality improved more and more and the strings became more pitch without reaching the usual brilliance of my Dougal. All in all a good choice for guitars with hazel spruce or corresponding overtone provenance.
