I'm a bit longer a user of the Gillette Fusion products, but I will seek an objective assessment. Normally I use the Fusion ProGlide series, now I wanted to me sometimes intensive deal with the MACH3, although I am very pleased with the ProGlide until today.

The blades and razors, as I'm used to it by Gillette, properly and kept in a plain black design (despite Football Edition, only one ball was printed on the front). The holder for the blade seems rather cheap and not as high as that of the ProGlide shaver. Overall, the shaver is crisp and light in the hand. But in direct comparison with an ProGlide he seems not very high quality, but not cheap.

The handle is slim and handy, fits comfortably in your hand and the blades make a pleasant job. It should be clear that everyone has a different perception. For me personally, I am also using this product Gillette quite satisfied, but rather to reach ProGlide series. These razors are a little better in the hand.
Nevertheless, the MACH3 make a clean work without zipping and disturbing skin irritations.
The preference of 3 or 5 blades should probably each find for himself. What this point concerns enormous difference. I have both the 3 and the 5, at least in terms of Gillette, sweet and pleasant. Important for me is sufficient sharpness. This is very good senses of both variants especially in the beginning. The durability of the sharpness is estimated in both cases at about 3-5 sometimes thorough 7 shaves. This depends certainly on the beard and the frequency of use. I shave sometimes more, sometimes less often. If I be the blades for the face too uncomfortable, they migrate to shower and meet there for some time its purpose perfectly good and sufficient in my opinion.

Comfortable shave and very satisfactory result. As a gift certainly not wrong and recommended for each well. But I personally prefer to grab Fusion ProGlide series. Perhaps out of habit, but these razors act again a tad high, particularly with regard to the blade holder. Because of this, I have to deduct a star MACH3, because they just have my opinion at a disadvantage to their peers.
