For cleaning agents:
Kärcher is actually almost the same as I would have it gladly. Very important was to me that the device is compact. If the black handle is collapsed, it has a 50cm high device that can be accommodated without problems on a shelf or next to the bench without disturbing.
The build quality is okay. Only the tires are a bit cheap (fully plastic, only be inserted into the device) but I would indeed take any big rides so;)
The volume is not felt much quieter than my UraltKärcher but is sonically much sonorous and pleasant to endure, I think now.
His work done, the device used to reliably with simple operation (only 1 rotary switch available). The print is perfect, you do not need more.
The only two drawbacks of the device are as follows:
- Lack of detergent tank: When do I use the Kärcher? For washing cars, cleaning the terrace and window. And every time I could use a cleaning concentrate. Here was omitted an integrated container. One could make a bottle next to the power and disconnect a hose from the device, which pulls the funds from this bottle ... I will personally try NIE, because I generally prefer the Kärcher afterwards and he drops me at every use. That I still runs a cleaning concentrate: I do not need.
- Lack of recordings for Accessories and Hoses / pipes: it is probably due to the compactness argument that the K2.980 brings not really useful for shooting accessories. I wrap the power cord around the unit, the high-pressure hose + rest I put blank in the bay. The side mount for the gun, I use only during the operation, so I do not have to lie on the floor and this she stays clean. At the latest during transport strikes me all the accessories that I have attached to the Kärcher, down again. If necessary, you should get a bucket for this purpose where you kept the accessories including high-pressure hose.
ACCESSORIES:
- High pressure / rotary nozzle: madness comes from the part! The pressure is so high that excess plaster was weggefetzt the building sockets. Concrete residues and other fixed-dried dirt on the window panes goes away like nothing.
- Washing lance: perfect tool for car cleaning. With this one can regulate the beam and the detergent dosing (pity that I'll never use the Kärcher with an agent)
- Wash brush: great for rims or sensitive surfaces because the water pressure is reduced.
- Surface Cleaner: it did to me, so I am writing this review. My old unit had not such a cleanser. Have usually even ridiculed him in the past ... Yesterday he was however tested. My terrace has no lining, there is at the moment so still a bare sealing film to see. This looked after winter from truly taken. With the old Kärcher I had vainly tried my luck, the surface cleaner but has now remedied. Everything is spotless, without cleaners.
I now do with it cleanly and the large windows on the ground floor. The rotation removes the dirt very well and it squirts out absolutely nothing.
In operation with the surface cleaner Kärcher also works more quietly, since it probably reduces water pressure ?!
For dirty window (outside), roof areas, terraces, garage doors and entrance doors is highly recommended the surface cleaner! The work order was so easy - a real pleasure.
All in all I am quite satisfied with the device. For the price, the performance offered is absolutely okay. When I see the Richti, a model with integrated detergent tank costs already ~ 250 EUR ... that would be it currently is not necessarily worth it.
I forgive 4 star and for someone with my requirements a clear recommendation.
