This Bluetooth stereo headset Kinivo BTH240 offers sound listening and provides handsfree functions. It supports the standard Bluetooth HSP, HFP, A2DP (stereo), AVRCP, V2.1 + EDR Class 2, all within a radius of 10 meters with some obstacles.
Firstly what surprises is its compactness even unfolded. It is also surprised by its lightness (only 73g) and excellent comfort. Worn around the ears, you do not feel it; you can even use it in bed and fall asleep without the gene. Moreover it does not bother those who wear glasses even equipped with thick frames. The covers are comfortable quality although we would have preferred a greater thickness.

To install the headset on your Bluetooth device, simply press 7 to 10 seconds on the central button to switch to pairing mode. On Windows 7, it will install automatically after association, no drivers are necessary.

Tested on a Nexus 7, an old Nokia cell phone and a Windows computer July 64 with a mini bluetooth dongle Asus: the sound is clear, pure and without distortion. The sound spectrum is respected (no bass or treble overpowered stifling). The integrated microphone for handsfree function includes a noise-reducing system for optimal sound quality. During music playback, the song pauses when receives a call.
On a Playstation 3: only the micro function for voice work as the majority of Bluetooth headsets not optimized for the Sony console.
Unlike other models whose LED illuminates excessively and gives the impression of wearing a beacon of Police on the head, BTH240 the blue light is reduced and unobtrusive.

Buttons: Located on the right earpiece, they provide access to all the comfort to enjoy its music playlists and microphone hands-free. The center button lets you answer / end calls, turn on / off the headset and then activate the Bluetooth pairing mode. Then 2 buttons are dedicated to volume control (+ and -) and 2 others to navigate through songs (previous and next track).

The charging time is between 2 and 3 hours depending on the device you use to load (a USB port or a universal charger capable of delivering between 200 and 500 mA DC 5V input).
Autonomy: It is announced 200 hours standby and 10 hours talk but this varies depending on the distance from the source, the volume and usage.

Lightness, reliability and everyday comfort are the highlights of this Kinivo BTH240. I recommend this helmet which represents excellent value for money at a time when Bluetooth headsets competition are offered to 60 minimum.
