compact slicer, but not for thin cuts / ham

The machine makes a high quality impression. It is processed fairly compact and solid.
By suction feet it stands firmly on the worktop. The plastic parts make a high-quality impression.
Easy to clean.

We had the food slicer mainly ordered us for meats. Unfortunately, she falls flat and was sent back.
In normal sausage and black pudding there was a good Schittbild.
The thin Italian Salami (hard) was also nice thinly sliced.

In the Parma ham, coppa, salami and Tyrolean speck thicker the machine failed unfortunately.
Really thin slices could not produce themselves.
Also it became clear that the machine was due to the low drive power problems.

(One has little surprised that you do not have the feeling of continuous cutting adjustment, but rather a sense of detent. But that can also deceive.)

Conclusion:
High-quality compact machine of German manufacture.
For many users, certainly very suitable (bread, cheese, cold cuts).

However, not suitable for very thin slices with ham.
We have returned the device and buy a more expensive machine for cold cuts.
