short and sweet: + Excellent workmanship, everything fits like a glove (have 4 housing) + Shell of impeccable metal that conducts heat very well (off) + Attractive, dark, brushed Design + Horizontal and vertical operation possible + Full eSATA and USB 3 speed (speed in my 90 MB / s, the bottleneck is the board itself) + Easy removal and replacement of the plate o Power on / off switch o Inconspicuous LED power indicator on the back - In vertical operation, the plate has some slack, so you do not know if it is really 100% straight - The housing vibrates slightly. Depending on the substrate which is audible, but not annoying - This enclosure prevents the standby WD Green drives (still a spindown seems possible)
Scope of supply: + The case (madness!) + Plug (those fat chunky 12V parts that block 2 outlets, but this is probably normal) + USB 3 cable + ESATA cable + Stand for vertical operation + Rubber feet for horizontal operation => Note: There is a mandatory one screwdriver for very small screws required!
Conclusion: In spite of the existing shortcomings, I would recommend this case with a clear conscience. The workmanship and materials are good value for money. For questions and criticism I am always open.
