Then the criticism about the high price .... (my comment: see below)
But honestly, in the end it's not really care if the milk comes from the pad (Milka), a final syrup in a capsule located (Chocomel) or cocoa and milk powder is in a pad (Senseo Hot Choco).
After all, it is about what someone tastes the best and there are all three types more convenient and faster than cooked "conventional" cocoa.
For those who prefer drinking cocoa from Nesquick, Kaba etc., which it is also granted. This price compare, but I think is unfair. This is about a finished product for a pod machine. If I pay attention here to the price, then I would let my coffee go through a porcelain filter with the good old Melitta bag classic.
Another point would be that I as a casual cocoa drinkers do not drink milk otherwise. Then what do I do with a fractured 1 liter Tetra Pack? Discard? Here comes me a finished product certainly located!
Expensive are all types of preparations. And the price per cup I know even prior to purchase (Package Price divided by number of servings). Arithmetic sometimes helps further ;-)
Since I use three finished products for my Senseo yourself or have tested, I can well compare:
My personal favorite (and I see here is really the taste) is Milka, as this cocoa drink is very close to the Milka chocolate. Second is with me Chocomel, for which a special pad holder - depending Senseo model a different - is required, which has a slightly sweeter caramel. These two systems and preparation methods I use from now on in parallel, since both my commitments taste. It should be added that both are really taste very different, and therefore also not to be compared with each other. As I said, I drink both and choose the one on which I have a mind.
The Senseo Hot Choco pads fall through with me, because the product is only watery. I have tested the Hot Choco pads with two different Senseo models. Here too, two different pod holders were required.
After an internet search I seem to have found the reason for the aqueous result: the selling in Germany Senseo machines have factory a weaker pressure than the machines in Holland in the market. Thus, the product, which is mainly sold in the Netherlands, with a "German" machine simply not prepared correctly.
As I review the Milka-product there are for the taste full 5 stars.
The price, I do not judge here (the reasons mentioned above).
My advice: pay attention to the times occasionally deals at discount stores and buy stock.
