Both earphones come with not just the strongest batteries. Both have a very good package. Plug adapter for eg USA are attending (if it takes a).
The RS170 has a good surround sound and an almost perfect Bass Boost.
The RS180 has a balance control. I find superfluous as long as you have 2 healthy ears.
The ALC of 180 works, however properly. In addition, my look like better. The surfaces are designed shiny. At 170, the surface is dull. Contamination can not be avoided there.
In receiving both devices do not differ. Both lose at the same point contact with the base. When it is time lost, they can be found quickly. Noise it did not do when you use a reasonable audio source.
The reason I've returned the RS170, is the seat of the listener after a few minutes. The 170 is closed and has earcups leatherette. I think in the summer because you can quickly work up a sweat. At 180 you realize less of it that you have a listener on the head. In the long run simply more convenient.
I do not use those settings as surround and bass boost. I want to experience the original sound, which also offers so enough volume.
Both listeners are top quality appliances. The decision is really hard for me.
As negative points I have only to report the battery and the two transmitter stations have only one entrance. An additional digital input would have been nice.
The flat control keys on the handset you have mastered in both phones after some getting used too.
I can only tell you my vote now does not help, you just ordered both and tests itself '.
