Compatibility issues with Asus motherboard "M2R-FVM"

The graphics card requires a "PCIe x16 v2.0" (or even 2.1) slot, however, the motherboard has only one "PCIe x16 v1.0a". The graphics card is PCIe version is not backward compatible, at least not with this mainboard. This means that the monitor does not get a signal and not boot the computer. Unfortunately, a stronger power supply, and a BIOS update did not show any effect. On the internet I have found many users who have the same problems at that mainboard and graphics card combination. I then a GeForce 9800 GT 1GB and also ordered with these problems without getting up and running.

Please note that I assume no warranty for the technical accuracy of this review. This is only my own experience is with this video card.

Due to the extensive accessories and the clean processing I forgive nevertheless 4 stars! Functionality I could not test unfortunately.
